* National Service Scheme (NSS) *
Various activities are conducted in NSS camps to instill social awareness, dignity of labor, and artistic talent in students. Lectures by dignitaries, seminars, guidance sessions, etc., are organized for their personality development. Students get an opportunity to understand and solve the problems of rural areas along with their studies. At the same time, the value of hard work is imparted to them.
Only students admitted to a degree course can participate in NSS. NSS volunteers are sent to participate in parades on Republic Day in Delhi and Mumbai, and in university-level, state-level, and national-level competitions and camps. They also participate in the state-level Utkarsh cultural competition. Volunteers who perform excellently in the National Service Scheme are felicitated as outstanding volunteers at the state and university levels.
